Pamela Edevold Acrylic Portraits on WC paper class
Join us for this 3 day workshop featuring Artist Pamela Edevold.
In this workshop, Golden Open
Acrylics will be used like watercolors
while maintaining the vibrancy and control of acrylic. The painting can be finished to Impressionism or Realism, depending on how many layers of paint are laid down.
This class will concentrate on realism and capturing an accurate likeness.
The first day the class will work along with the instructor from an
image she provides in order to learn the process. Each student may also bring a good quality 8 x 10 head and shoulders photograph of a person with at least one full eye fully visible to work on the second and third
days. If a photocopy is used instead of a photo, be sure it is excellent quality and doesn’t flatten the values needed to create form. A black and white photocopy will also be needed to transfer the image to the watercolor paper. Paint, brushes, paper and pallettes will be provided.
DATES are Sept 19-21 Friday 5-9 Sat & Sun 10-4
The Cost is $100
